The colder the better imo for any type of hunting, they have to move/eat. Always have had the best of luck when temps are in the 20's in the morning and the 30's in the afternoon as well.

IMO my most favorite time to hunt is the last week of archery season (here in Pa). My favorite temps to hunt with a bow are 30-mid 40's. During gun season the colder the better. Snow is always a good thing when it comes to hunting. I hate it when it's towards the end of archery season and all a sudden the temps rise. Horrible, the deer don't move even though they're starting to rut. Plus a lot of annoying bugs come out thinking it's the start of spring. And man do they annoy me.

Cold enough that the snow won't melt in the afternoon. 20 to about 32 is my favorite. Below 20 I have trouble keeping my feet warm.

were i hunt seems 30'-40's deer move best. when it gets cold and the pressure is on the deer become nocturnal. it has to do with the hunting pressure more so then anything i think. later in the year more pressure, gets colder see fewer deer.

I'm with ACEarcher mid 30's to 40. I love bow hunting but also like still hunting with the rifle. That temp range is nice and quite in the woods if its wet. I can also pull back my bow when bow hunting!

I personally find that more important than temp is the Barometer. I like just prior to a strong front on a falling barometer. Movement is usually high on an impendidng storm.

Love those crisp cool mornings and the snow on the ground. It's easy to spot those deer sneaking around looking for food when it's around 20-30 and I also love when it's snowing. It really brings them out.:shoot:

I like upper 20's to mid 30's with powder snow. Archery season I like mid 40's to mid 50's and fog, light rain. You can really sneak up on them when it's wet.:shoot:
