IR camera problem at night

Just bought a Stealth Cam IR camera. Put it up a few days ago, just pulled it this afternoon, the anticipation was killing me! The day time pictures came out good, minus half being of nothing. The night IR pictures though are very, very bright, I don't know if the cameras malfunctioning or if it's just it was too light, I don't know. Help?

Is this the only photo? from the looks of it this was taken at 8 O'clock so it could just be the sun hitting it directly

ok, we set the camera up in the control room at work (shhh) and tested it it...i think i was worrying too much. seems ok, not great but ok....

i've had similar trouble right at dusk. My camera gets weird when there is not enough light for no flash yet too much light left for IR flash. A white out usually appears around those times but at least you got immages.
