OK barners ..........looking for some info from anyone who shoots or hunts with excalibur crossbows. Good points, bad points, etc. I was originally looking at a parker cyclone and the local pro shop who was stocking alot of parkers now is not selling them anymore because of limbs breaking etc.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
Although I have only shot the Excalibur crossbow,I would highly recomend them.I shoot a Excalibur Equinox.I like the recurve limbs.( with a stringer you can change your string anywhere).I love the thumb hole stock.I purchased it with the scope package and Added an STS.
The people at Excalibur are also great to talk or E-mail with.
It is one sweet shooting machine!!!!
Good Luck!:)

Hey Silverbelly. I bought the equinox package last yr...shot others. The reputation and recurve limbs sold me!...i am very happy with it!..accuracy is amazing and unloading is simple!
As for the bad points...hmm...not many...but since its a recurve style...limbs are about 1foot wider then the compounds..it not as compact.

EXCALIBER IS TOP OF THE LINE, LESS MOVING PARTS LESS THAT CAN GO WRONG.

I have one.. About ten years now.. First quality and speed.. Great trigger.. Mines 185 lbs, and I needed the crank to cock it.. Wider than a compond.. Like it though..
