I finally got one by myself. Also had a miss too but I did get a bigger one 2 hours later. So we got in the blind an set up at 5:15 then waiting till legal shooting to load and my first call I have 7 or 8 answer right away!!! Then i waited to call, my second call one answer CLOSE behind my blind. I Hunt by the close to the turn pike so a cop pulls someone over and that ruined my morning hunt.:thdown::fight: His lights were 20 yards away from my blind when he stopped. I watched the turkey walk away through to much brush to shoot. So we walk out to another field and there are 3 gobblers so we set up but they wont come. So we get up and walk 2 fields over and there was a nice one standing there couldn't get him to come into the shooting lane so i shuffled about 2 feet over and took 3 shots boom dropped him, boom dropped him again, and the 3rd shot was just out range.The walked to another field and:eek: 13 toms strutting around so I set up and start calling there answering (this is for all the marbles so I was really agressive I had 30 mins before I had to leave) so the were 200 or so yards off and it was pain staking slow they seem like they would never get here. the big one had to be 24 lbs it was the biggest turkey I have ever seen. He wouldnt come but the other birds keep coming, so the one gets in range and I drop him.:D Right when I had to leave because my grandpop had to go. So for the long post. I will post pic tomorrow:)
