when theres doves on the pile it seems like the deer come out calmer and the doves always let you know when something is coming in

If you want doves out try putting a crow or owl decoy close by.

i have the same problem hunting in waretown..One good thing i noticed is when the doves move around the deer concentrate on them for a second and you have a chance to adjust or get more comfortable.

if the deer r coming to pile try changing up your bait, potatoes or somethin else. acorns make good bait in already established pile , just rake them up (fresh ones from tree )spread them around:thup:

Way to go pass em' up:thup: i also like to mix the pile up with some nutients and minerals to increase their bone mass to its fullest. You have it made when you can throw bait in your yard.the property i bait has some hunters close by and they do the same.should be for some good management.
