"Laugh Out Loud"

Laughing Out Loud or Lots Of Luck. Either just doesn't makes sense to me.

Archery pronghorn hunts are not alot of money and Colorado is not at the end of the earth. It is something that is possible to do if a hunter really sets his mind to do it.

A good deal for one hunter is a LOT of $$$ for another. Many guys on this site are still young and/or have families or other responsibilities and just don't have even $1,500 or $2,000 to "blow" on a hunt. Besides, with no amounts posted how does one decide if what is described here is a good deal?

Ole 20-
I don't think ''blow is a good choice of words here.
I never ''blew'' money on a hunt or a fishing trip.

There are sure alot of ways for all of us to ''blow'' our hard earned cash.

Is smoking ''blowing'' $$ to a nicotene addict?
Stopping for a cold beverage after work ''blowing'' $$ to guys that do it?
How about going to a NASCAR race, is this ''blowing'' $$ that we could be spending on something else?
What about the bear hunt that your friends are going on, are they blowing $$ or spending $$ on a vacation that they desire to do?

I work extra hours or side work :( to make extra $$ to be able pursue the things I want to do. ;) But I don't have $$ to ''blow'', but do have $$ to go on a hunt or fishing trip from time to time. :)

I was just posting this trying to help any of you guys that might be interested.

rrr :)

rrr Um, dude that's exactly why I had the word "blow" in quotes!

Not even close to the same thing bud. Try again.

A little closer here if the intent is to point out that the beers are recreational and not mandatory as above.

How about going to a NASCAR race, is this ''blowing'' $$ that we could be spending on something else?
OK, now you're on to something. But yes, that is absolutely money that I choose to "blow". Just like I "blew" some money in AC a couple weeks ago ;)

What about the bear hunt that your friends are going on, are they blowing $$ or spending $$ on a vacation that they desire to do?
As far as these kinds of spends are concerned, yup I condider it "blow" money. "blow" = recreational spending. Sorry if that term gets your hairs to stand up.

Well sure you have money to "blow" since you go on many hunts and "blow" your hard earned $$$ on every one. Some might argue that $$$ would be better spent on savings for retirement.

You are one of the fortunate ones to have such money to "blow"...as am I, many others are not quite so fortunate.

I was just posting this trying to help any of you guys that might be interested.

And I was just pointing out that by you saying the hunt posted was "not a lot of money" that it was um, not a good choice of words. ;)

rrr :)

But seriously, I'd even agree that we're both "right".

Happy hunting RRR. :)
