Just putting this out there.
If there are Barners that want to or use pigeons in their training. I will be trapping a bunch. So if you need some give me a shout and we can work something out.

I just finished my new coup and will try to get out this week to trap. Hopefully, we can get somebirds by Saturday. If you're interested in some, send me an email. If you are hesitant about using pigeons and need some advise or need a coup built I can help you with that.

I was going to try on Saturday, but Mike called me and needs help sodding. You want to help? LOL. The birds aren't cooperating though. We only have 4 in the pen, but I'm suppose to go check out a few farms this Saturday, OH Thats right, I have to help MIKE Sod!

Get ur Up'er P @ss up this way so we can knock this out. Mike just dropped ging on a Franchi Veloce 20 with 26 inch tubes. Nice piece. I'm headed for the hot tub now. Have a good night.

I did get it. I think it would be a great time. But with the wife having a kid soon, don't think it would be the right time to do it for me. I hope the offer stands in couple of years, so I can make it for a few days.

thats called bad family planning lol... just kidding... understood, offer stands as long as im going which i havnt missed a year since i was 10, maybe in a couple years you can bring the kids! i think the leagle limit got dropped to 10 up there

This may be a stupid question but how do you trap pigeons?....I have about 40-50 here that I'd love to get rid of....

Years ago when I was into retriever field trialing we went out at night
and caught them under low bridges when they wouldn't fly....we used them in our sanctioned trials and for training young dogs before moving
up to larger body birds....

I use a Pigeon trap. I know some guys that net them, but their success rate is not too good, as mine hasnt been too good this year. You wire up te doors first then get them used to going in in and out. Then you drop the doors. If you dont have too much feed around. you should catch them pretty easy.
