First one of 2010

Not a shed but one that was broke off this fall. Looked to be broke off right above the brow. I think he went into this area to lick his wounds after the fight and dropped it. The area it came from was pretty thick for an all out fight. I had been running a camera and hunting this peice alot this year and never seen this guy or got a pic of him, so I beleive he came from another peice and had to fight when he got there. I hope he jumps up to and eight this year because he has good mass and nice tine length, The pics dont do much justice. He looks to be at least a 2 1/2 year old with 17" (whats there) beam, and a 6 4/8" tine which was probably his g-2. Nothing big but it's a start for the year.

Found this 4 point side today. Most of the brow tine is broke off, but I'm starting to find them now. I tried to match it but couldn't find the left side yet. I now know where this buck sleeps and eats so I think I may find it by spring. This guy scores right at 40 inches with out a browtine, so more than likely a 2 1/2 yr old 100- 110 inch deer.

If that's where I think you mean, crazy wet is an understatement. :nuts:

I can remember trailing some deer through nothing but water back in the early 1990's. It dried out for a few years, but this year you might need a boat because even hip waders will not get you across some of those ditches.
