i have an 11 year old sister that can not pull back a bow and she hunts but she doesnt have a long hunting season with only shotgun becasue we have to spelt it. I can hunt by myself next year so she might get her bow license and shot a cross bow. so does anyone know of a good cross bow for lil' hunters lol:)

Yes try the barnett 150. with a cocking string (a rope made to help pull the cabble back) you 'll be able to cock it for her. thats a good X/bow for anybody to starte with I did and up to 30 yrds I would trust it. Cost wise its also one of the cheapest.I also killed deer with it.:thup: best of luck and good for you to think of your sister .

In NJ, during the mandatory Exam/Field session of the Bow safety course,
the Crossbow must be cocked by the student. Pick a crossbow that your sister can cock by herself.

There are many nice crossbows.

There is an awesome selection of crossbows in the archery arena at the Sportsman show in Harrisburg. If ya can talk your pop into taking you, there's a good chance you'll find a nice one for the lil sister!
