today I went and paid $7 to get into the worst gun show ever. In fact I really saw a perfect way for anti gun and gun show guys to take pics to prove us the scum of the earth. Strong words? yes, but this is what I saw. A booth of (ww II) nazi, flags, nazi uniforms, nazi posters? Fine collector items? Well not one gun maker had a table, only small gun dealers, and I use that term In that they may of had some kind of legal way to sell beat up old guns. I left the show feeling dirty in some way, not sure why? If this is the measure of a gun show in 2010, our sons will never go to one, and they will be better off.

It appears like the gun manufacturers "knew" they should stay away from that "show"...:please:

I'm glad I didn't hear of it! I'll wait till the Valley Forge Show to come around again. Hopefully they didn't make any money so they won't have it again.

Thanks for the report - that show was on my someday to do list - not any more! Anybody ever been to the Forks of the Delaware show in Allentown?

Well I was not sure if it was just my take on the show, Glad to see no one defended the show. Most gun shows I have been to (only four before this one) were the most american, red, white and blue events for gun guys like me. I look foward to the next real gun show.

I agree, it was more of a bring your junk show.
I primarily go for ammo deals, buying in bulk.
Walked around to different tables and noticed the reloads were about a buck cheaper then brand new ? What kind of deal is that?
I could not believe the price jump in 7.62 x39 ammo from a couple of years back !
My old man left the show with a used PF-9 that he went for.
A set of 9 mm dies, and 500 rnds of FMJ bullets for reloading.
I decided to jump on the 762 after the price came down $20 at the end.
Lord know`s what ammo will cost next year .

That show was really disappointing. Mid Atlantic Arm Collectors is who I think ran it. They used to do really good shows but as many said - not enough guns and too much fringe things and nothing to do with gun things. I used to fo to many of the shows over the years and I have seen more of this trend. I am particularly intersted in modern rifles, shotguns and handguns and have seen the shows go away from these weapons to all about AR style rifles, militaria and many things that have nothing to do with guns and ammo. I don't make special efforts to go to any of them anymore - only go if nothing else to do that day.
