Went out and shot a bunch of bows today. Just wanted to see if anyone else has handled this hoyt carbon matrix. It is the lightest bow I have ever picked up. The guy at the shop told me it could be run over by a truck and still shoot perfect. I did not shoot it though. The bow runs $1600 bare bones before any add ons. Thats just plain crazy.

That bow is the snizzle, but their turbo hawk (magnisium riser) is lighter, for about $550. But the video is on their sight, of them running over, spinning out on, braking on, so on with a truck. I would love to work in their r/d department!

Not sure about being the lightest. I was having my string replaced on my Mathews LX & the shop was unpacking a carbon matrix (stripped) he handed it to me, I wasn't impressed, couldn't tell the differance holding that bow & my bow with sight, stabilizer, ect.)
It was pretty cool to look at, not so smooth to draw, had a very aggresive cam, they do offer some differant options on the cam though.

im picking up a new bow sometime before october and i was set on the mathews z7 after shooting it but after seeing this bow (carbon matrix) i think i have to go and try it out before i settle on something.
Hoyt also states that they dry fired it 1500 times at 70lb draw weight with no failures . I don't think any other bow manufacturer can make this claim .
