When fishing one day in Lumberton, over 30 turkeys came from the woods a mile or two from route 38 and struuted as if they owned the land surrounding the CVS distro center. The land is not posted behind the location and it's located near a toxic dump.I asked the neighbors if they were resident birds and they all said that know hunters ever go after them.;)

Burlington,Mt.Laurel area is developing at a rapid pace and I see a short ride for the search leading to a Tom of a lifetime... Beards were touching the ground on many of these turkey and they took no fear in my audience of angler's.

Just a Shot not in the dark!

Sounds like a quick way to get arrested. we use to duck hunt right off 38 by larchmont and teh cops came like CLOCKWORK.

I was with the land owner and we were legal distance from any homes but someone ALWAYS called.

Be careful!

years and years ago, before the cvs and lowes plaza,it used to be awesome deer hunting/rabbit hunting. i know guys that still do real well with ducks and geese back there on the creek. try looking around smithville lake. thats loaded with turkeys. cant hunt there. but its fun in the spring when the toms start pushing each other around. i live right behind RVRHS and i have em in my yard at times. actually had 6 under my carport. they are really doing well in this area, mt holly, eastampton, lumberton. ive actually seen them in lumberton park when i was walking my dog along the trails
