I have had lot guys come to me to ask what they need to get back into the trapping game. I think the biggest thing that alot of guys don't know about, that have been out for a while or just moving into the state is the snare cert.
If you got your lic before 91 and did not go through a snare course you can not use snares in the state of NJ. also if you are moving in from another state that does not have snaring or if the state did not offer a snare trapping course you can not use snare in NJ.
I bring this out because alot of guys that trapped in the 70's and early 80's before the leg hold was taken, and stop trapping because of school women kids LOL may not know about the snare laws.
