30 inch T/C barrels

I want to see who out there is smarter than I am. I picked up a matching pair of T/C cap lock rifles.When I put them in the safe I noticed they were two inches longer than my other black powder guns. I had to call T/C to find out why .Does anybody out there knows why?

The answer is that when a man named Dean Pasiley and some friends got the first black powder season opened in Delaware they had a 30 inch barrel not 28 inches for there guns. T/C had to make special barrels just for the state of Delaware.
