I havn't been coastal but I took a ride down to Cape May a couple days ago and saw ALOT of blackies, hoodies, and buffies. That was it though.

I've hunted coastal about 5 times this season so far. Its been real tough. I've shot a few brant and buffies and blacks, did not see any different puddlers or divers. The winds have been brutal when we went so i think that had something to do with it. Always worth it to give her a try though, lots of buffies around down there.

My brother and I have been having a great coastal season. We have not been out much this week but I've been seeing lots of birds while driving around. Good luck if you get out.

There was alot of "slush" in the bay. The ramp was frozen but thin. There was solid ice about 4" thick with a small channel out to the mouth. If the wind dies it will probably freeze up soon. Cedar creek ramp was open.

No ice at all at parkertown ramp today. Clear all up and down the west side. All the ice was on the east side of the bay. Report and pics later, I am tired:thup:
