Was able to squeeze in alittle more time. Was out yesterday afternoon. Had a clean miss at about 25yrds. Deer never moved, almost gave me enough time to reload. Trotted off tail still down right before I was able to get the cap on.

i had a doe a few years ago that i had a cold cap not light the charge, i recapped and missed, then reloaded, and killed her.

I had one hang around when my flint broke.She stood there while I put a new flint on set a pan of powder off to check it.I then reloaded and she took off when I pull the set trigger.She just knew when to get out of there.

I hunted in maryland this year-- got a 6 ptr and had the remaining 5 does standing around stoping. I reloaded muzzy and shot the bigest doe in the head at 60 yrds. Amazing how they stand there and let you do that.
