Are you in PA or NJ?
I wish we could still use them in NJ. Hell, we can't even hold one in NJ unless it was welded shut.

Jason I'm located in Kutztown, PA.
Also have a bunch of Conabears <---spelling??? for muskrats.
They say Trappers make better hunters... why... not because they are a better shot but because they spend more time in the woods.

What does that mean? Illegal to possess in NJ?

Pat - What size and brand are the legholds... Victor, 1's, 2's? Also are the Conibear's 110's (about 6"x6")? What kind of shape are the traps in?

you would be better off murdering someone rather than getting caught with legholds here in NJ. snares, box trap and conibears submerged at normal high tide is what we are allowed in NJ.
any word on the rat market this year?

I heard that the market should be half decent. We used to do well at the fur auction.
Not sure about the meat market for coons and rats.
I don't trap much anymore.

Will137 I'll check on sizes but I'm pretty sure that they are Victors #2s double coil spring and I also have some long springs which by the way is what I snagged my first coon with.
