I have just gotten into hunting and I am wondering what would be a good first time muzzleloader for a 14 year old boy:confused:

Are you going to need a youth model or can you use a regular size? Look into a traditions. For the price you can not beat them and they are as accurate as anything out there. Now if you are like alot of poeple out including myself and like T/C'S your going to pay for the name ,but they are great guns.Shop aound a little right now you might find someone trying to get rid of some inventory.

If you got a Mossburg model 500 pump shotgun you can just go get a black powder barrel for around $100 and then the boy has 1 gun for all ocasions.:D I believe other shotgun manufacturers make then also, I'm just prone to my Mossberg. $300 and I can hunt from small game to big game in all seasons, gun seasons that is.
