takes a lickin keeps on tickin i say. my grandpop is 100 deaf, still climbs a tree with a tree climber and hunts. he finally gets a nice one after years of waiting. so many times the deer have gotten him , now i am glad he is able to get a nice one, before he can no longer hunt. he only has a fewyears left , but i give him credit. i can only hope i can hun as long as he can.

Good stuff right there! He looks strong as an ox, congrats to Pops! I remember my grandpas last year of hunting I spent it with him, like it was yesterday, 20 something years ago.

Way to go pops, It was only a matter of time.:bow: For his age he probably puts in more time than most of us. He said he was seeing a nice buck and he was right. I wish i was with you guys that night but i decided to go farther south. Congrats again pops. I think buckshootem was happier for his pops than when he took his two bucks this year. He's been trying to get him a nice one and this year it happened. Good job josh.

CONGRATS to Pops!!!

I sooooooooooooooo hope I can still get out there at 79. I have been nurturing a lil spot near my "hunting lodge" for a number of years that I call my "ol man spot" (seriously!). It's a spot that is ONLY 75 yards from the house, it's an EASY walk to get to and just this past rifle season one of the guys took a decent 10pt right there...WAHOO!!!
