saw a deer wed on doe day i thought was odd .it acted like a buck 1 step in 10 min,ring around snout,flat spot on head.anyway it came out at dark and snuck into pile for 5 min and snuck out.went thursday night before storm and rite at dusk it came back.i baited this spot to see what comes but he was only one and shot him because i got 50 dollars of bait out and cant hunt it again till jan 2 it was a 15 minute walk in huffin and i wasnt to return. anyway he was 100 pounds and bald spots on his headalready go figure.lol

I have found sheds as early as the first week of December and have seen deer with antlers into April... go figure. Just another reason for us to stay on our toes.

On camera I have a small spike and 4 pointer that both have lost one side this week.

saw a half racked buck cross the rd out in front of me last night. Last yr, i kept my feeder going and had a full racked buck under it on march 2nd. Theres a big window in which our bucks shed.
