Are there many flint lock hunters on the barn with the same problem as me.Clean up is a real problem and a pain in the butt .I hear about the new powders on the market and it turns out they are for in lines only. was hoping someone had a way of using it short of cheating and useing an electrical barbeque grill starter :naughty:set it up with powder at the powder hole and it mit work but I want to do it the old fashion way using my flint. If knowbody has an other product then its back to the pyrodex pelites. pain to clean but they fire every time ,and do kill deer and one coyote:D

I have used just about every powder out there in my flint. They all need a good cleaning when your done .Using loose powder or pellets muzzleloaders just need more care. It's just the nature of the beast.
