Finally connected with a nice 8 pointer

Got into my stand around 2:30pm this afternoon waiting for some deer to come by. About 3:15pm I seen some movement to my left and out comes this 8 pointer all by himself looking for some does. He walked towards the hill and he needed to take 2 more steps to give me a perfect 20 yard shot. And he did take those 2 steps and I took the shot. When the smoke cleared there he laid. What a good feeling knowing that you put a good shot on a nice buck that you have been waiting for all year. The last day of 6 day firearm I had 10 does come by the stand. I just had a gut feeling today that maybe the big boy would come and he did......:shoot:
