I hunt (bow, shotgun, muzzy -- deer, turkey, small game, waterfowl, upland).
I fish (freshwater, saltwater, surf, party boat, real bait, lures).
I play golf (anywhere I can for free).

Variety is the spice of life guys.

I choose to avoid six-day. I take advantage of early bow, late season bow and muzzle loader, etc. I hunt public land and private when it is available to me. We all have choices and opportunities -- make the best of them. God Bless America!

All of this in fighting does sportsmen as a group, especially in NJ, no good!

Happy Hunting Everyone!

That sounds like a perfect perspective DW. If only all fellow hunters could come to the same conclusion our sport could become a much stronger force. We are simply too fractionalized and arguementative which only gives the antis better ability to win some of their battles. And it gives the game boards and legislators less reason to listen to what many of the sportsman have to say. I believe that our sport is dying a slow death and one or two generations from now hunting may no longer exist as we know it now.

I agree with your prognosis. I hope we are both wrong. I hope to be hunting with my kids (first one can get his lic. next season) and grandkids someday.

Take the cell phones , ipods , vidoes games off them and make sure their up by at least 7:30 in the morning and our sport might survive JMO.

I hear ya uncle but those things have enhanced my life as well. Kids these days are often spoiled by "Instant" gratification and success. Hunting takes extreme patience and is chock full of failure. It can be hard for some to understand how that could possibly be fun.
