ridley creek state park hunt today.

anybody go? are there any deer left? i was going to go hunt it on saturday? i was wondering how the hunt went today?

yeah i hope they left me some deer! its really the only place i can hunt around here 5d. i do have a spot to hunt upstate but with work being slow its hard for me to get up there with gas and all plus i don't like being away from the family all the time. anyway the park isn't that big. it didn't seem to be hunted to hard during bow season or at least i never saw to many guys. i saw good number of deer there this year but just couldn't get a shot or passed on small bucks hoping for a big guy. i just hope the shotgun hunters didn't take all the deer so i can get in there and get my buck still or a doe. i would really like to put some meat in my freezer before its to late.

the best thing they could do for that park is make it bowhunt only, with no shot gun hunt, the archers will do the job. ive hunted there for 5 years and it was a dinamite spot, not anymore too many crossbows( just my opinon) ( anybody can squeez the trigger, with a bow theres a little more involved. considering standing up and not getting caught, drawing and picking a decent lane) again just my 2 cents

Brother and I had our tires slashed there about 3 years ago by a gentleman with a handle bar mustache driving a silver BMW. Report was filed went no were.
Friend of mine gets in every year and was told you have to KNOW some one in the park.
Havan`t been back in a long time.
Results are usually posted in the Daily times.
