Abuse of our deer herd!

Gentlemen just because the dimwitted state, states in some zones you can kill unlimited does. please don't exterminate every deer you see. we are supposed to be sportsmen no glutens. in another post someone said he knows a pig that killed 23 deer before any gun season opened. This to me is wrong in so many ways. I'm all for taking some does out of the herd but not in excess. (Take only what you can use.) If you know someone in need by all means take an extra for them. But the legal eradication of the deer has to stop. I know most of you feel the same as i do, but you may know one of these pigs. Get on there ass about it or we will have no deer left. I have seen it first hand in north west PA. As a kid 20 years ago we would see 50 deer a day. This year 6 all week! PA sold 28000 doe tags for my zone. Plus the flint lock season allows doe and bucks. The deer just cant keep up. Its the same here if we kill all the does then there will be no fawns!!!

Amen I keep sayin it but nobodys listening. Doe permits during 6 day is horrible lets drivers shoot everything that moves. All about whos club can kill more deer.

For every doe that get shot there will be two less deer in the woods next year. Everybody is complaining about seeing less deer. But do they then shoot does.

Don't get me wrong fellas i do shoot does. It is part of good management. If you only shoot bucks the buck to doe ratio will be further off than it is now. Usually only shoot one in any given piece of woods. If i see a lot of does with multiple fawns i may shoot two does never any more.:naughty: The most i will take in any given year is three. That's all my family can use. After that i still hunt but if i shoot it will only be at a good buck, and only if i know someone that will use it. But that just my take on the subject. If you have any different views i would like to hear them.:thup:

I hear what you're saying and agree 100%, another thing that bothers me is these guys(and I know a few, as do most people) that go out and kill a buck just so they can take the head to the taxidermist and will let the rest of the deer go to waste! Most of these guys i know have one or two already at a taxidermist from the previous year that they cant pay for but there they go taking another somewhere else to get a mount! Dont get me wrong i see nothing wrong with having a trophy but to kill something for just a trophy sucks.
