Wish them dudes spent half the time in 65 chasing ILLEGAL property jumpers and stand stealers as they do/did hounding the legal hunters about small infractions to be honest. Your explanation sounds LOGICALLY good to me bending the rules but no shots were fired, imagine jumping out your stand after unloading your gun because its past legal shooting hours:naughty: Ive been held hostage for a few times when the deer are passing thru at that "MAGIC HOUR" and getting down or out definately would spook anything around. GL and happy hunting out there:huh:

There's been a femal CO running around zone 45 and the cumberland county area checking people. Haven't run into her yet but someone I know did. Said she just asked a bunch of the same questions and then left.

glad you didnt get a ticket for a technical infraction (loaded after hours ) but i agree with why you did it .Personally i would like to see a bigger presence of law inforcement to keep the few a##h.... in linethat seem to ruin hunting for everyone else.Coming home tues.nite i saw a truck pulled over on the tar road with a 4 or 6 point on the shoulder infront of their truck no doubt by the way they were squirming around in the truck they were going to shoot it out the window I blew the horn chased the deer into the woods .If they believed the rangers were out in force they wouldnt be hanging a gun out the window even if it was a monster buck.Every poached deer is stolen from the legal hunters.:naughty:

:fight:
The NJ fish & game put those darn coyotes in our area and let them multiply like friggin rabbits. Now we had a BEAR sighting 2 miles from where I hunt in south Jersey.
Damn str8 I'm staying loaded till I get to my vehicle and case the gun.
It's for my safety as well as my family's that I protect myself at dark:razz:

Ugh! They never left Jersey & the state didnt PUT them anywhere.
Damn str8 I'm staying loaded till I get to my vehicle and case the gun. With all the bears in N jersey how many hunters have been attacked? 1 bear sighting & you think you have a great excuse to stay loaded.

This isnt grizzly country dude...relax. In Jersey a better excuse would be fear of getting robbed or shot on the side of the road rather than a bear attack.lol
Where was the bear sighting? Didnt hear of it. Was it legit?

:thup:Bear sighting was in the Atlantic County Parks behind the NEVER REST Gun club in Weymouth.
Ok maybe Fish & Game didn't put those damn coyotes in the woods--so I went a bit overboard. You guys get the hint-- I'll be staying loaded till I get to the truck-- period!!

I know a farmer who lives around the corner from my old house who was friendly with game wardens/ Frank V and he told all of us that the state did in fact release (forget how many..2 or 3) coyotes on his farm... guess this is about 7-10 years ago:huh: is it a fact???? I can't swear that but no before that we never heard 1 but after we did.
If they where always here they did an amazing population explosion quick:eek:
I also know the state will deny deny deny and get rather angry denying....
Would the state have a reason to....hmmm yes;;

It's the "I killed a bigger deer than you" idea those idiots believe. Figure they can't work for a nice deer and earn it like the rest of us so they'll go spotlight a field and whack a deer that way.:thdown: Nothin' irritates me more than people that possess that logic..

Tell the farmer to stop hitting that rot gut shine! I got some good stuff at my house. Just like in PA they seen the PA game Commission dropping in yotes from blackhawks! Give me a break.

The game commission doesn't have Blackhawks!! The north to southern and Western to Eastern Migration has been happening for years. Yotes go where the food is. Just wait, mark my words. You think the migration of evasive species like feral hogs from up in Northern PA or Jersey aint making up to my neck of the woods in the next 15 years? Just ask the northern counties in South Carolina, as they are moving in from states like Georgia, Florida and Tenn, following the river systems. Just the way nature works. Tell your farmer buddy that I got some stuff to make him right:nuts:

be careful what you wish for.
they are down here. just not in big numbers. farmers won't let that happen, shoot, shovel, shut up. it takes a lot of crops to grow a 600lbs bear. who do you think gets all the northern problem bears?
