That Diocese property was fought over by that club and another one. They now alternate years of permission. Maybe someone from the other club got pissed. It doesn't help matters that the club used to have a reputation for "jacking" deer and it was no secret.
The wardens may just been trying to nail them or maybe it was true.
Either way there are two sides to every story and I feel bad for the guy being caught up in it. It seems he spent alot of time and money to be called guilty on such little proof.

Clubs can be down right nasty.... I have been caught up in some bad situations while pod hunting and still hunting by myself with clubs driving a piece being huge @ssholes to me... One guy was ready to "throw down" cuz I was hunting his piece, State propety in wharton... I laughed in his face and told him to eff off and that the PO were getting a shout
