Rat Attack Season Opener

Decided to try a new stop for the opener this year.It looked way better than the meadow i usually start off in.Pulled yesterday and reset 11 doz this morning.Even with the early tide and the full moon I had 278 Rats in 3 Checks .Not a bad opener at all.Mostly Browns with a few Blacks mixed in.One ditch i saved for only snares.I managed at least 3 a day out of 12 sets.I am waiting on the cold for the Fox and Coon.Saw Mink sign all over and still i couldnt snag one..HRL:D

4" of snow here right now and comin down hard yet. Hopin to reset some upaland in the morning when I get off work at 0700.:thup:

We had snow it just wouldnt stick!!No ice on the meadow thank god.Did manage 35 Rats today with a lone coon that stuck his head into a 110,,Lol First for me..HRL:)

Ron it was attached to a Cedar Stake and iot was still stuck in the bank.It was tore up a little ,but not as bad as you think it would have been..HRL
