I am shopping also the encore is a pricey gun if you dont plan on changing barrels I would look cheaper. I am looking at the t/c omega and cva optima elite.

I agree...I have an encore and it is an incrediable shooting gun...I don't have the pro but the orininal one but still a $500.00 gun...I would suggest looking at the CVA since they are extremely accurate and cost effective...only issue with CVA is the trigger pull is about 10 pounds with no adjustment so you will have to take it to a gun smith....but I have both nd highly recommend the CVAs for their money
