wtb verizon phone

My 14 yo fell off his bike and smashed his phone that was in his pocket. Tried to replace it at verizon store but the price I was quoted on replacement phone was rediculious. When i signed up replacement phone was 50.00 this guy quoted me over 250.00 for basic phone... Anyone have an old one that I can have reprogramed?? Anyone ever have a phone reprogramed by verizon what did it cost??? Let me know what you have...
