But it felt good to let it out a little . we all get like that at times. for now I'll take it out on Mr. whitetail (I hope)getting ready to leave for jim thorpe area I'v done well in the past there .Hope it snows tonight not ice and rain thats makes it a little hard to drive wish everyone a good hunting trip and a nice buck.

Sorry to hear your loosing buds to hunt with. I had the same thing happen to me. When I first went to college I joined a fraternity. About 3/4 of the fraternity were sportsmen. Man we would have so much fun doing drives, a bunch of us going out for small game, doing some clay shooting, memories upon memories made those years. I found the exact kind of guys to hang out with people just like me. Well, I'm done now and all of my buds that hunted with me are done now. We don't get in big numbers anymore or huge drives. We don't stay up all night having a blast then go crawling to the stand in the morning. I can't live that lifestyle anymore, but I miss allmy friends. I don't have to many friends out in SE Pa as I did in SW Pa that hunt. SEE NOW YOU GOT ME RANTING! :D JimThorpe! Great area. Love it very pretty and clean. You going to a certain BIG SGL that is right outside Jim Thorpe? I really like that one myself.

Hey fraid many of us feel your pain and have been there. I've hunted with many guys over the years, some were not a good match and when that happens it may be time to let go and move forward. I've never been divorced but I'd imagine it's kinda like that. If you love hunting and it sounds like you do the time will come when you hook up with some buds that you match up better with. I had a group of guys I hunted many years with and it broke down and I went myself for a number of years. Sucked but it was better than NOT going! I got lucky and now have a core group of great guys that I hunt often with. We have our differences and are VERY competitive but the one thing in common is we LOVE TO HUNT, especially bow season. Hopefully things work out for ya fraid...hang in there man.

Take a teenager under your wing and teach em to hunt. Plenty of single moms out there who's boys want to learn.
