I've been using original scent killer for years with great results. This year I purchased the "super charged" scent killer (thats all dicks had) and got busted twice. I use no scent soap, scent lock clothes and scent killer spray.
The super charged stuff seems to have more of an odor. Anyone else using it?

I been using hunters specialties for years. Seems to work well for me. The big key is playing the wind. I dont care what you use, if you dont play the wind you can get picked off.

I hear ya.... But playing the wind isnt full proof either.... I am hunting a pile (Probably get razzed for that)... I never hunt the pile when it is a south wind cause my scent will blow on the pile... basically any North wind (NE, NW, E, W,) is fine...just not South!.... I have had two days lately with a NW and NE wind and this big buck busted me both times...I hunt high also...about 30 feet....:huh:with piles they circle it to be safe so you cant just hunt the wind per say!... I am thinking about switching from Dead Down Wind products to something else... Could just be a very mature and smart buck or just the spray isnt the greatest...I usually switch to something new that comes out but may hafta get back to the ole basics....!
