Hunterdon County Deer Hunting

I need to pick up something in Clinton,NJ next week around noon.

It's a long trip from where I live, so I thought I might deer hunt before and after the errand.

Any suggestions for public land that I might try.
Not looking for your hot spots..just the name of a place you might
suggest.

dito what squidly said.it would b tough to buy a doe permit than a buck permit on top for a minimal hunt with no clue of the area

Oct 30 th was the deadline for purchasing archery buck permits. This stops guys from hunting without it and only purchasing one if they take a buck.

If you bought your zone permit after 10-30 . I can go out tomorrow and buy both if i want.(havent bought any extended bow permit zones yet) Once you buy for zone permit after 10-30 you have to buy the buck tag with it right then and there or not shoot a buck

Doesn't seem to be worth the cost and the trouble IMHO.

I'll just run the errand early and go hunitng in one of my spots near home in 5C/5D
