Wanted to know if any dog handlers could answer this question. Do I need a New Jersey License to run my dogs for clients, if I am not carrying a gun? Any help will be welcomed.

If you don't have a gun, I doubt it, but it wouldn't hurt to check with them.
This may not apply to what your doing, but Personally, I find it objectionable that a guide should be allowed to take someone hunting for state stocked birds. I'm suprised the shooting preserve's haven't pushed for some rules against it. It's costing them business. But that's my opinion, that and a buck will get you some wawa coffee. If it's legal, have at it.
You do not need a license to run your dog if you are not "hunting with a firearm or bow". Read 23:3-1 and 23:1-1.

Jesse,
I'm sure you don't need a guide. I was going to guide for Ray and some of his cop buddies. I wanted to get the Steady Point GSP's with another state under their belt. Next stop, South Carolina for some quail, as long as my cousin can find them.
