If it where beyond a few weeks I would say Parker. I would drive to cabella's and ask for the boss, and then his boss and then his boss untill I got it replaced.

Not sure what you paid for the bow, but check out the excaliburs. I shoot one, easy simple design and no issues.

Blackcloud I have a strykeforce for sale, I shot it about 50 times like brand new. I want $900 for it has 10 point lighted site on it, I have strker and carbon express bolts for it, cocking aid.
I am getting rid of it because I just like shooting my regular bow to much.
Maybe you can send that bow back and get your money back, this crossbow is top of the line.
I have pictures to if you want, if not goodluck with your bow.

Cabelas return policy which I just used this past weekend is 30 days return, after that it goes to the manufacturer. While I was there I saw a fellow returning something that was past 30 days and he asked for a second level response at the counter and they sent the first level back and told them to give him his money back.
Push a little and they will respond, I have always had good luck with them and their products, thats why I go back.

What type bolts are you using? the problem might be in the total weight of the bolt. I have a Parker Tornado crossbow. I have had no problem shooting or hunting with it. I killed 2 deer so far this year with great success. I use the Red Hot bolts which weigh 325 grains and I can use a 100 grain broadhead or field point for practice. Recommendations for Parker crossbows are to use 425 grain bolt with broadhead or field point or greater, anything under that will cause the limbs to shatter. Like dry firing your bow. Make sure the mag nock is placed correctly along the bow string if not this will also cause a misfire and cause the limbs to shatter. I hope this will help you good luck....... http://parkerbows.com/pb/2007/:shoot:

Well I am going to cabelas tommorrow. I don't think I'll be getting another parker. A friend of mine just had his blow up while he was sitting in the stand. I was told the string broke. Then it broke the limb like mine.

Well I got back from cabelas. They took the cyclone back and I got the Barnett Predator. I was talking to one of the salesman and he said the parker tornado is the crossbow with the most problems, followed closely by the cyclone. I think parker has a problem.

I bought a Parker Cyclone, I asked the manufacturer what they recommend for arrows and tips and that is what I use. They had arrows and tips that were made specifically for their crossbow. I have not had any problems. The crossbow is so accurate, I cannot shoot at the same target twice. (I was ruining arrows)I recommend that you ask every manufacturer what arrows and tips to use. All crossbows have to be cocked correctly (uneven)it will cause problems.First time I went hunting, I shot a heavy rack six (no brow tines) it dressed out at 150 pounds, the arrow blew thru the deer and burried in the ground. It was a 35 yard shot.

I was using what the manufacture recommended. The string broke broke at the cam, before I shot the second shot.
If you had and continue to have good luck with it, and your happy with it great:thup:. I got the predator and love it. The first deer I shot was a doe at fifty yards. The bolt blew right through her and hit a power line tower about ten yards on the other side of her.
