Got out this am for a quick hunt. Saw lots of pairs flying. Mostly black ducks with some mallards too. Shot a nice drake black and that was it. One pair of mallards tried to come in but a darn hawk changed their minds. Had some mergies show up too. Dog made a nice B-line retrieve.
When I uploaded this pic I realized it looks almost EXACTLY the same as a pic I posted last year one week later. Same spot, same report. :thup:
