:cool:who has sat in there stand wondering aimlessly of just about everything imaginable waiting for movement?how many thought of invention you just know would sell but you did nothing about it and now it is on the market? i have come up with 2 first i used to tell my buddies instead of sticking tacks all through the woods and even forgettin where you put them in daylight how bout a remote controlled light you can hang on your stand and as you approach your stand area you hit buttonand a red light will flash so you wont even spoke deer with flashlight and other guys wont follow your tack line!!!! GO FIGURE WALMART 12.00 but they dont work good flaws . then i know everyone has gotten turned around in woods (NOT LOST WE DONT GET LOST) and wish there was an way out without the feeling that comes from bein turned around especially dark. well how about the hunters helper . you get turned around you pull out a remote key switch and your truck beeps or calls to you loud speaker under hood,ya know problem solved . WHATS YOURS:yahooo:

Sounds good, except a car alarm only works 25 feet from it, how would this work with being further in the woods. Wouldnt a gps or compass do the trick.

When goose hunting we use goose flags. Some days the work great and other days they don't make a difference. I always thought about what does it look like when you put the flag down on the side of the coffin? It looks like a goose laying flat on the ground with his wings spread out. If common sense serves me right the only time you'll see a goose do that is if that goose is dead. So what about leaving one side of the flag looking like a goose and camoing the other side. While flagging you use the black and white side. When they begin to commit and lock up flip it over to the camo side and say it down in preperation for your shot. Last year I saw them for sale at Cabelas. Go figure.

you werent listening lol not a car alarm ,a loud speaker which will work up to 2 miles like the old walky talkys or even activate from cell phone . where i hunt i tried my gps oh boy not to b trusted in deer woods especially this time of year ive experianced being turned around due to poor gps signal in thick canapy, and yes of course a compass but if your by yourself tracking i think it would b rather much trying to mark all the turns extc, and stuff just call the truck or hit the switch and you go shooo ahahahahah its rite there :)

i got turned around last year in woods i havent been in and it was not fun. It was getting dark and cold as balls and here i am looking up at nothing but tree lines and 1600 acres not knowing which way was in or out. My gps was not working and luckily i remebered my compass. Scary as hell, but when i got out i think i laughed for about a day or 2. I guess it would work. Sounds like knight rider to me.

Ideas are floating around out there. Deer stand is a perfect place to entertain ideas. You just have to work out separation of deer hunting focus and idea daydreaming. Your brain and raw nature at sunrise are

I thought of this one years ago. I used to work at an extreme sports store when I was younger. Ice climbing, rock climbing, etc. We could get you the gear if you need to climb somplace nasty. One time a rep came in and gave me a chalk bag. They are just a little bag that hangs on your belt to chalk your hands when climbing. This is years ago and the first thing I said to myself with this bag was this would be great for guys shooting T-handle releases during tournaments. Most just put the release back into their pocket or in a zipper pocket in their quiver. The chalk bags can hang on a belt, their lined with fleece, they weigh nothing, and they have a drawstring at the top that you could close so you don't loose the release. When I started shooting competative archery for my college i saw guys where those chalk bags on their belts. This time the bags had inbroudery on them like "truBall", "Cartel", etc. Man, I should of jumped on that band wagon years ago.
