quality crossbow?

i started hunting with a shotgun last year, yet to get a kill. i wanted to buy a crossbow for this year and was wondering if i could get a good one for under 500?? any suggestions would be great

The barnett quad 400 is a good buy my buddy has one and it shoots fast and has a price tag under $ 500

i picked up a horton explorer 150 from dicks. $399.99. comes with 3 bolts,quiver,and 3 lite dot scope. wife has me on budget. i cant be happier with it.
