I've had much success attracting bucks pre rut and all through the rut. How do you bring bucks in the early bow season? Every time I seen any bucks I always thought it was just shear luck. Rattling and grunt calling along with different scents work during the pre rut and during the rut as well as after the rut but what do you do during this time of the year?

i dont think you do ,personally i think you find them by scouting during late winter after the season ends. walk deer runs and look for antlers.during spring and summer you need to scout to see where there at by way of fields ,cameras, and where doe aren't,by august Sep you should maybe go spot lighting some fields or walk the trails and look for tracks.or maybe put out a mineral block.`they stick together till pre rut . and mostly time spent afield.also try may very light antler ticking if your deer respond to rattling.early season they will come to see who's in the hood, not hard or bullying but just like tapping together like the young ones do.ONE MANS OPIONION...PS. a deer run wore into ground is most likely from the girls the boys use less traveled and in more thick stuff:thup:ive found numerous sheds on lightly used trails away from the obvious:thup:
