Not me.... ALot of stuff to do if it's your first year at this..And work has been killin me. Only been in a tree once so far. And I probably wont start really settin hard for uplands until the day after 6 day up here.
I'm probably way behind on gear stuff. Spent most of the spring and summer lining up places and thinkin about location....Some crazy trappin instructor from down south () talked up location or somethin like that....:D Learning what I like on equipment with those snared whistlepigs took a bit too...I've got lots located..but catchin will be something else, I'm sure.
SO I still need to track down a half dozen 110s or so and maybe a couple boxes or kits for boxes, hopefully at skylands next week. Dont know what to expect to see at the convention, but hopefully, what I need. I dont really know what to expect for a first year....I like where I'm at and what I know from callin canines and I like what I did this summer. SO who knows...But not knowing is half the fun for me at this point..
ps. thought you were outta here river rat...lookinforward to your pics again:thup:

I have like 60 dozen so 6 Traps definately wont hurt.Just let me know what ya need i have ya covered..,LOL
You know for reasons pretty much out of my control I am still here.I wish i was out there in SD getting ready for Coons.Looks like I wont be moving anytime soon.Economy is just to unstable to dictate a life changing move at this time.My daughter turns 3 on the 30th.She may see Kindergarten in NJ.You got me for a couple more seasons,HRL:wave:

LOL...Yeah, I imagine a half dozen or a dozen 110s sounds funny to you fellas...we just dont have the rats up around me. Seems like every drainage and pond down your way has em. I've got lots of ponds and river basin, but only one or two spots has any of em at all. And the ones I've seen in the one river basin have been in the mouths of two coyotes I saw turkey huntin years ago.. Those dogs (a year apart)would get wind of you and drop what they were holding and both times they were carryin half a rat!!
Another spot, I do have some rats, but if I allot myself a half a dozen, it would be alot. Yet we've got some mink in those spots.... and lenty of coons too. Dont know if it's the amount of canines we've got or what, becasue if you do find a muskrat den after freeze up, it's always littered with dog prints in the ice and snow.
Sorry to hear about the move RIver rat, but nice to see you back on the board.

i was just looking at my pile of 110's. i need to cut new saplings for them. i like to have them fastened to poles. preset them at home, just locate and push in. but i'm not telling river rat anything. he runs enough steel in the meadows, it actually raises the iron content of our water.
i'm seeing the young coon getting pushed out by mom, they are dead on the roads.
redneck is a duke dealer. talk to him. i may buy a dozen 160's this year. less fencing then a 110 on those big bank dens.
