I know there are some mixed emotions about Google Earth type sites, but I personally feel they have there merits. One of the best tools I found is a layered interactive mapping site by the NJDEP called i-maps. Its for NJ only. It allows you to place overlays on a google earth style layout. The overlays include open space or state land such as WMAs. It really helps to view the boundries overlayed on a satelite photo.
The other tool I like is the measurement feature. It lets you measure distances right on the photo. I had an issue with a land owner posting state land and used it to show that he was taking 580 feet of state land as his own, which included all of the available tree stand location in a prime staging area.
Here is a sample picture from the site: Click on it to enlarge

The green shading shows the WMA boundries and the red lines are the measurement tool. On the actual website, mesurements for the lines are shown at the top of the page.
The site is http://www.nj.gov/dep/gis/newmapping.htm
It does take a bit of getting used to. Some layered catagories don't become available until you zoom in. Its not extremely user friendly, but well worth getting to know in my opinion.
