Now lets get out and hunt!!
Sorry guys, I'm a first timer so I'm pretty pumped.
I completed the Hunter Safety course and yesterday I purchased my very first PA Hunters License.
Pretty much the only one in my family who doesn't hunt and I'm really looking forward to it.
Any ideas on what you think I should go after first?
I gotta walk before I can run.
Thanks
Joe

Bow hunting? Go after the first deer to give a good shot angle. Try to learn everything you can about deer every time in the woods. Look for a good acorn area and find good fresh tracks, they will be feeding on the acorns at night, and making their way to them right before dark. Try to backtrack the tracks to thick cover, thats where they will be bedding, and coming from at dusk. Place your stand within 20 yards of a good trail leading into acorns, and wait them out, dont be afraid to move around until your into deer the first few times out. Also try to keep the wind blowing from the trail to you. Good luck and just have fun. Don't forget to sign up for our deer contest, you will probably be the one to shoot a monster this year, thats the way it works:thup:

Try some dove or some small game. With most of your family members hunting your going to have some great times and make some awsome memories! Best of Luck!
