I just bought a new camera to try. I got a wildgame 4.0 IR and was wondering if anybody else uses one and what kind of performance they have from it. My old 35MM camera was killing me and this is supposed to have longer battery life, etc, etc. It will be nice to just go in and swap out cards instead of messing with film. I'll post my findings as I get it out in the next couple of days. PS I did get some nice pics of my cat so far sneaking in and out of the bathroom. LOL Trigger speed seems good.

Well here are a couple of the first group of pictures from the new camera. I'm not impressed so far! It's like there needs to be a focus adjustment or something. The lense looks clear and weather was good, but pics are fair at best. I did get 50 picks in 3 days so I'm not all that upset, and several of the picks show multiple backstraps have found my spot.:D Anybody ever heard of adjustments on these cameras? At 4.0 meg pic I would expect a clearer shot. You guys decide.

Looks like the cam can't get a good focus due to low light..almost like it's sorta between the day and night setting. Maybe try in an area with a little more light during the day. Just got my Wildview and so far pics during the low light, but not quite dark time(eve and early morn) are doing the same thing. Day pics and IR night pics are sharp as a tack.

I'm going on vacation tomorrow so I'll have to move it when I get back. I should have some more picks when I check it next week and I'll try a better lighted area leading into bait area. Have you tried video mode yet?

Haven't tried video yet. During transition light I still get some fuzzy pics..even with the move. I guess we get what we get for an IR cam under $100. On a positive note the cam works great and the sensing range and IR work great. Getting pics almost every day.

Ive tried alot of cameras. Cheap and expensive. Cuddybac is by far the best ive tried. I have 2 new ones. It cannot get any easier to set up. The infra red has a very short distance in the dark though. It should only be used close to bait, or on runs. Field edges or open woods are scetchy past 10yrds. The flash camera works like dream in every situation.

Well I'm back from vacation on Friday and went to get camera, had 313 pictures on it in 1 week. Only a couple of white outs and 2-3 black outs but the rest I'm impressed with the quality. I'll post a couple of picks tomorrow when I have some more time but I feel a lot better with this group of pictures. Of course there is this 1 little doe that has taken up residence at my bait pile and is in 2/3 of the picks. LOL It looks so cool all covered in spots, my wife loves the pictures. I prefer the ones of the nice 7 pointer running with the other young bucks. As soon as corn is cut I'm sure the big boys will return to the area. All in all for under $100 I'd say I give it a "B+"-"A" rating.

Well here I am called into work in the middle of the night. Saved the day and still got time to send a couple of picks from the camera. Enjoy!

I've heard about those wildgame cams. The price talks. Not all that bad pics for a cam $100 or less.

I have the ir4. It works really nice. I Put it out for 1 night and had 300 pics. Thats because I put out 3 day harvest out. It like the quality and the trigger is not slow either. I would reccommend this camera to anyone who wants good quality.
