Considering purchasing an atv and was curious if guys had any input on good experiences with dealers. I would travel to pretty much anywhere Nj or Eastern Pa for the right prices and fair treatment. I'm still open on manufacturer, but I'm considering a kawasaki Prairie 360. Mostly for working around house, farm, Not for racing or anything. Thanks.

OHHHHHHHH atv's....im an ATV nut case. I race sport quads in harescrambles. See pics below from Mountain Ridge GNCC 2009 I raced this spring.
In PA local to Philly there's-
Bromleys - KTM and Suzuki
East Coast ATV - Honda
Fun Center - Yamaha - Suzuki
East Coast Kawasaki - Kawasaki
Honestly I dont want to bad mouth anyone but they all have their ups and downs. I would recommend you venture to a shop and sit on the ride you like then get the Factory pricing. Now your educated on the ATV you want and then you shop your price. There is a TON of room in this market from list to what they will actually sell for. Personally, I would buy used because there are alot of people out there with toys that need money. I would also watch EBAY. I bought my last race quad as a REPO and it was 25% of the market value. I had it shipped from florida for 400 bucks. That seller usually has alot of repo 4x4's from Yamaha.

If you plan on having it mostly for "work" (if I'm thinking what your thinking of) then I'm gonna say the Yamaha Grizzly. Depending on how much power you want thats up to you. Polaris sportsmen are alright, but you may not get as much use untill you start having break downs.

Thanks massbaster. Ace, yeah it;s gonna be for the food plotting too, but also for the firewood gig and hauling mulch dirt etc, plus playing for the kids onboard and maybe to use trapping if I can leave it on the bigger properties secured for a few weeks at a clip. Thats why speed aint important to me, I'm interested in towing capability and reliability.

Xtreme motorsports in OH, I bought a brand new rhino and saved 1900. No BS charge of freight or assembly. My brother-in -law also purchased from them and they shipped for about 300. Great guys ++++++ NO SALES TAX. ,unless you register in NJ or PA.

At my age, my MaxII whereupon I sit on a bench seat suits me just fine for wood and deer haulin out of our swamp. Eight chains is a pain and greasin those six hull bearings is a must (Tractor Supply Green Grease works the best), but can any rider go through 4 ft of ice water for any distance without some damage? Depends on where you is what you does.
