Barnett Predator questions.

Hello,
I am new to Buck Barn. I came over from Bass Barn. Wondering if any owns a Barnett Predator. Or any other Barnett for the matter. I'm just looking to see what people are saying about the Predator. Also any one know of a store around Burlington, NJ 08016 that carries Barnett. Other than Dicks. They are suppose to carry the Predator but not one in the 08016 area has any. I even checked with stores in PA. Just want to get my hands on one to see the quilty and weight. Thanks!

I've heard they are a good crossbow, but a bit loud when fired. Heard the quad4 is another good barnett as well.

A buddy of mine has a predator .It is a little loud.The adjustable shoulder stock has some slop to it .On the good side it has short limbs ,nice speed ,
compact and seems pretty rugged.You can't beet the price.Look at sportsman center ,or harry's in borddentown-yardley on rt.130

I dunno it's gotta be something with barnetts being loud. They have for the most part completely covered their limbs with rubber and they still tend to be on the louder side. Not saying they aren't a good crossbow. Just a weird thought. Price talks though.

Thanks for the info. Do you know for a fact that Harry actual its not Harrys anymore. its cheynnes or something like that. There are 2 separate stores now with different owners. Any way any no if that place carries Barnett or if Sportsmans center does?
I've heard that the Predator is a little loud but then I've read on some site that most crossbow are a little loud. Even Tenpoint and Bow tech I've heard are pretty loud.
Definitely have to say the price can't be beat.

I own two barnettes a quad 4 and a 150 both sound like a rifle going off but have taken game with both the quad is a bugger to cock had to get the cranking devise it works pretty good but as you said cann't beat the price.

Just got my Barnett Predator in yesterday. I hope to sight it in in the next couple days. I missed out on a good deal too. A guy on BassBarn had one for sale. Only $300!! What a deal. I missed out on it though. Sold it just before I got a chance to get to him :( But I got mine now it was almost $300 more but thats ok. One day I get a great deal. And maybe, just maybe I'll win the Mega Millions and just hunt and fish for the rest of my life. I'll start a lodge up in Maine or something.

I just got a predator iwas sighted in with in 6 hots at 30 yards bought mine at the hamonton home center owner cut me a great deal.:)

My Parker cyclone is loud! But By the time deer hears it, its running on fumes!

I see a lot of hunters posting about there barnet predator or there penatrator .They are two different cross bows they look alike untill you put them togetherthe predator is a larger bow . the penatrator fires 20 in. bolts and the other a22 in 'er .on which I prefer the20 in better to me 345 ft per. is more then fast for me and less likly to have problems.and is byfar more quite then any of the others. and I'v owned most of them from the 150 rc to the 400 quad and the penatrator I have also shoot the predator at 375per I still like the smaller bow.:thup:
