Steady Point Presents Steady Point's Dueling Gunner. He is now 5 weeks old. Dam- Chesham's Barberry Briar
Sire- Chesham's Jake
Both Dam and Sire are from 3xNFC KC's Gun Smoke and Jig's White Smoke (Hall of Fame) lines. Compariable pups sell for 1,250 to 1,800.00.

Gunner is up as a puppy for 1,000.00. If you do not have the time to break in the dog, I will start him and he should be ready to go at 6 to 8 months. The dog will be started on Whoa! Here,Heel and will release bird to hand. If the dog is started, prior to delivery the dog will have birds shot over him. This assures you that the dog will not be gunshy. Obviously if the dog is started the price will be approximately 2,000.00. with all shots and micro chipped.

If the dog does not work out for you, you can return the pup and I will refund 3/4 of your money. Anyone that has worked with pointing dogs will know this is a deal as you will not find ANY KENNEL that will do that. The reason is I LOVE my dogs! If you speak to those that know me from the Barn they will atest to my passion for pointing dogs. I'm passionate because I know what a good bird dog is and what it takes to bring out the instincts in one. Oh , yes He does have blue/gray eyes. (the chicks love that)

Gunner is getting bigger every day. He is learning to come to call now and we are in the process of house breaking him and his sister. We firmly believe that it is never to early to start training. The dog will be awsome.

Banquet is on Saturday. Gunner and Stella are doing well. Coming to call and doing their business outside. Smart dogs! Learning to Kennel and are full of energy.

Ridge(Don) you are a ballbag!!!!!. My dogs are killers! They only look cute and cuddly. Gunner may be a guide dog soon. Mom and kids are getting attached. If so I won't be disappointed. I have a call into mom's breeder, I'm sure there is a real bird hunter with some money out there. If not, what's another dog in my kennel. you'll pay sooner or later, it's your choice! Plus I'll hit up a kennel for 500.00 bucks a breed with the blood line of Jig's White Smoke. You boys need to dooooo your research!!!! SALE CLOSED!!!!!! NEXT LITTER IN A YEAR!!!!!!!

If I wasn't living with my in-laws:( I would have jumped all over this pup!!!! Awesome looking pointer:D!!!! Good luck with him:thup:.

Thanks. Gunner and his sister Stella are showing real promise. They will make fine additions to Steady Point. Will keep all posted as to when the next litter maybe.

Russ....what a great looking pup. Started for $2000 is a steal. I would do it in a sec, but my old gal(15yrs) is still pulling my heart strings as I carry her up and down the stairs. Could not bring in a new pup now until she passes, just feel it wouldn't be right. Please keep us posted on Gunner and Stellas progress and keep the pics coming.

I come from a different line. As I can't watch my dogs go like that, But I know its hard to let them go. My top pointer is 9. If he couldn't hunt, I don't know what I would do. Let him go I guess, but not like grand pa did it. Couldn't carry his big ass, he weights 82 lbs. I know 2K is steal started for his lines but, you know money is tight. I got my started dog with similar lines for 800.00 that was back in 2000. I had a guy call me tonight for a dog. I had to give him the number for my breeder, cause I knew how much the blood line was worth. The breeder is putting his dogs out there cause he loves the breed. Me, I'm loading my kennel up. I guess next year the Harley Chopper goes for more pups!
