oh stop it, you know that aint true. iam sure there will be a learning curve just like everything else. plus iam willing to bet you dedicated bowhunters could prolly outshoot all us first time xbow guys anyway

I remember heading off Carranza Rd to High Crossing when I passed two old guys sitting in lawn chairs under a beach umbrella on stand. This was in 1980's when deer drives were going on all over around there.

1980's, heck that's been every year I've ever hunter that area since the early 70's. Last year during monday of 6 day firearm I had 3 different clubs push the piece I was in within 4 hours. I saw more orange coats and hats in that 4 hour window then I saw deer in the month of December. :huh: State woods can be brutal at times, but if your smart and you know the woods and the deer, you can still take some nice bucks once in awhile. ;)

PS. That picture was before crossbows were open for all to use. I'll be posting a nice crossbow picture as soon as I score the doe first rule out of the way or October comes in, which ever is first. Lord willing that is.:)
