Acorns ?

ANY ONE HAVE ANY ACORNS BY THIER HUNTING SPOTS? I WAS CHECKING A SPOT THAT IS USUALLY LOADED IN WHITING NJ AND THERE WAS NOT ONE WHATS UP?:confused:

just started to drop hear in dorothy big fat ones.

they r dropping now around me.also trees yeilding any type fruit might produce better one year than the next.r they on the branches.:rolleyes:

NO I DID NOT SEE ANY. THE GYPSY MOTHS MIGHT HAVE SCREWED UP THE TREES.:huh:

i have a few dropping. they are small in size and low volume this year. the tree rats and turkeys are cleaning them up fast. not seeing many on the floor. tonight and last night i hunted different stand, about 400 yards apart. i had two trees near me dropping last night, and three tonight.
rats are going crazy, had deer feeding last night, nothing tonight, must of hit the fields tonight.:huh:

i hunt zone 19 and they are starting to drop pretty good,its like free bait

Black oaks look good, but the white oak around me are lacking. Last year it was the other way around.

I live in the northern portion of WMA 5C. I've got a good crop of white oak this year. Welcomed from last years mast crop. It sucked..

I HUNT ZONE 21 AND THEY ARE WHITE OAK NOT ONE TO BE FOUND. LOTS OF HUNGRY CHIGGERS THOUGH.:thdown:

They are falling alright...It sounds like its raining...! I hate them...the bait pile is shuting down!

Its Hit or Miss some Woodlots are Loaded some are barren.Seems to be a good White Oak Crop,HRL:)
