Friday would be sweet. Lets see how many more guys we can get, and we'll rockit.. Probably in two weeks or so. I'll be in Dewey the following week at school and surf fishing.. We'll make it happen though!!!

Last couple times I went, I only had a soda. ;) Went with my 6 year old boy and didn't want to drive even after only one.

If we're up at the cabin, the bed is only a few paces away. The Bud cans flow freely. :D

OK, November 1st its a Saturday y'all not a middle of the week work night which are hard to rise from and no worries about getting up to hunt No Sunday hunting here in PA (not yet).It will be dark by 6pm so everyone can come in from their stands,please no camo in the bar area and don't wear your scent loks.Wash your hands if you just gutted a deer and come share your story.
FIRESIDE BAR on BETHLEHEM PIKE in AMBLER,PA just 1 min from FT.WASHINGTON exit of the Turnpike.Or 5mins from the LANDSDALE exit.

This should work for alot of people its the day after Halloween. I know I am not going to the cabin that weekend got to put beans in the jar and parade the kids thru the "HOOD" Friday nite. If all you guys get some beans too you might get the green lite to hunt a bit in the am/pm then hit the bar for a few. Rut should be in full swing that week so we could possibly have some good stories.:thup:

The Fireside has one of those big square bars probably 15' wide 25' ft long.Completly seperated from the dinning area. Good woodstove pizza and stuff.
I have had dinner there a few times with the Family and peeked in at the bar it looks roomy.Never sat and had a few though.If I go and have a few beers 99.9% of the time its down the beach/boat.

Sorry, Ridge, I can't make that trek up to Fort Washington, from where I live. There's no easy way for me to get there without a 1 30 minute ride. Not cool for the ride homeCloser to KofP would work. Either way have a great time. If anyone still wants to get together close to K of P, I'm up for it.. I do agree that the Sat night thing would work for no hunting Sunday.

Well the first couple Sat nights of November the ol'lady I think may have made plans. I bet I could swing it on a Friday. I'll be willing to drive an hour from Nockamixen area. Just post a for sure day, place and time. If anybody is in my area and wants to carpool let me know. Fuel isen't cheap now a days and more people chipping in makes it easier on all of us. I'm around the Nockamixen area.

I hunt up that way a ton I hunt about 50 acres of my buddies property.I also have a very good success off of XXX better tell you in person than post it. It would definitely burn it. Anyway it takes me at the most 30 mins straight down 309 to get to Ambler.Thats from Perkasie
