I finally got into the woods for an afternoon hunt yesterday. I have hunted this stand for a few years now and have never seen a buck. usually at least a few does come by each day. Well I hear the first deer coming and stand up. As it gets closer I see it's a small 4. He looks up at me then turns broadside to feed. about 5 mins later I hear another one coming, it's a tall 6. The 4 goes over to him and they start sparring, first time I have actually seen deer do this. Well while they are going at it another 4 and a spike walk in and hang around until dark. I had a clean broadside shot at all 4 deer. I swear they have to know I haven't shot a doe yet. Well heading back out tonight.
